We tend to welcome over 500 students from a range of subject areas and year groups.Suitable for: Organisations who operate in Scotland, UK and/or international legal jurisdictions who wish to promote their legal career opportunities to University of Edinburgh LLB Law students/graduates as well as students studying other disciplines who are interested in legal careers.Price: £500 + VAT for Exhibitors paying via invoice£400 + VAT for Exhibitors able to pay online without an invoice£50 + VAT for Information Providers Sponsorship rates also available. A space in the venue large enough for you to assemble a display of 2.5m maximum width. Use of a small table and 2 chairs Access to tap water for refilling water bottles - please bring your own, we will not be providing bottled water or plastic cups Teas and coffee - please bring your own reusable take-away cup if you would like to take your hot drinks to your exhibition area Light snacks - not lunch. In an effort to support local businesses and keep your exhibition costs down, we will be highlighting nearby local businesses where your delegates can purchase their lunch if they don't bring their own. What’s included in sponsorship? We are happy to discuss sponsorship options. Benefits could include:Prime exhibition space with the opportunity to place a banner at the entrance.Logo placement on all publicity materials leading up to and during the event, as well as our on-campus screens.Opportunity to host additional activity outdoors on Bristo Square, subject to discussion and prior agreement with the Careers Service. All bookings received by mid-August will be confirmed or contacted no later than 2 September 2026. Which students will engage? Students from all subject areas and all year groups will be invited to attend but we would expect between 50 - 65% of attendees to come from our School of Law, the rest coming from other disciplines across the University – mostly other Arts, Humanities and Social Science subjects. We encourage students to use this as a chance to be curious and discover what’s out there – that means some students may be at earlier stages of exploring career options and others may have clearer plans.We are proud to have a very diverse student population – around half of our students come from outside the UK – naturally they are keen to hear from the industry about their chances of working in the UK and have questions about visas.Find guidance on recruiting international students here What else can I do? The Careers in Law Fair is aimed at both talented University of Edinburgh LLB Law students/graduates as well as students studying other disciplines who are interested in legal careers. Our Discover Careers flagship event earlier in October is aimed at students from all degree disciplines - including Law. So if you are recruiting from multiple disciplines then Discover Careers may be an additional option for you.
