What to expect from the Fair?

  • To meet motivated students from our world class School of Engineering, keen to chat to you and explore what is available to them both on graduation and during their studies

  • To benefit from the footfall a multi-employer on campus event will generate

Target student audience:

  • The majority of attendees (estimate 90%) will be from our School of Engineering covering Civil, Chemical, Electrical, Electronic, and Mechanical Engineering. We also specialise in Fire Safety and Sustainable Energy Engineering. Remainder of attendees from other STEM subjects

  • Engineering students from all year groups will be invited to attend but we would expect most interest to come from Undergraduates in years 3 - 4/5 and postgraduate taught students

  • Estimate 200-300 students

  • If you recruit from multiple disciplines as well as engineers, you may wish to consider attending Discover Careers. (See 'What else can I do apart from this event?' section below)

Suitable for organisations:

  • Offering summer internships, industrial placements and graduate roles.

  • Of all sizes, both large, graduate recruiters and SMEs

  • Happy to engage with a wide range of students and understand that this cohort of students may have had limited work experience and exposure to recruiters
