Careers in Engineering Fair (30 October 2024) The Careers in Engineering Fair is your chance to meet organisations offering internships, placements and graduate schemes in a variety of engineering sectors on campus this coming semester. The fair is aimed at Engineering students. It doesn't matter what stage you are at in planning your career - this event is open to students from all year groups. You'll be able to speak to representatives from 30 organisations and hear what it is like to work with them, get tips on your applications, and ask questions not covered by their websites. As well as get information and advice from the Careers Service . When: Wednesday 30 October 2024, 12:30 - 4:00pm Where: Sanderson Building, Kings Buildings You will soon have access to use and filter our event guide (EASE login required) Schedule of events Opening Hours The event is open for you to drop-in between the following times. No booking is required and are welcome to come and go. Wednesday 30 October 2024, 12:30 - 4:00pm Please note: Given the limited space and popularity of this event, you may have to queue to get in. And you may have to queue outside the building so please dress accordingly! Who am I going to meet? You will soon be able to go to MyCareerHub to see the overall list of participating organisations (Login Required) Our online event guide will also be made available in advance of the event, allowing you to find out who is here, where they are and what they have to offer. Don't worry if some names are unfamiliar to you - you can discover more about them at the event. We'll also have careers service staff within the event who can help you to work out who you might like to talk to. If you would prefer to do some more research on the organisations attending before you come along, you can, but it's not expected. Looking them up on MyCareerHub would be a great place to start.
