This venue is used as educational space and materials delivered before the day will not be safe. When can I get access to the venue to setup /breakdown? Wednesday 30 October, Sanderson Building Setup: 11.00am - 1.00pm Breakdown: 4.30pm-6.00pm Where can I park my car? Please note we do not have free parking on site. There are two options for exhibitors wishing to arrive by car: Permit Parking- to be organised in advance There are a number of University permit parking areas across the King’s Building campus, where visitors can park using scratch cards. Parking scratch cards for the University parking areas can be purchased from our Parking Office directly. We would strongly advise any delegate choosing this option to purchase in advance and get them posted out: www.ed.ac.uk/transport/parking/visitors Pay and display City of Edinburgh Council parking (pay and display) is also available along West Mains Road, outside King’s Building Campus. Can I drop off materials before parking? Yes- there are two entry points into the exhibition spaces for exhibitor drop off. One through the front door, where there are 3 steps in. The second is to the side of the Sanderson Building, where there are no steps. Exhibitors can drop off here before parking elsewhere. Image What stand size can I have? As per your booking, you will be allocated a space measuring approximately 1.5m x 1.5m. This space will contain a trestle table with a white tablecloth and 2 chairs. There is a no shell scheme – each exhibitor provides their own display boards/ exhibition stand to position behind the table. You will only have access to an electricity point if you requested this on your booking form. Please do not exceed the 1.5m x 1.5m space. Any exhibitor exceeding this space will be asked to take the stand down in line with our health and safety policy. If the stand isn’t causing any immediate issue, exhibitors will be given the option to either remove the stand, or pay a penalty charge of 30% of the booking fee to allow the stand to remain. When does the fair open to the students and graduates? Opening Times: 1.30pm -4.30pm When is lunch available for delegates? Two free lunch vouchers valuing £5 each will be provided upon registration and can be redeemed at the nearby café, The Eng Inn throughout the event. If you will have more than 2 delegates attending the fair they will have to purchase their own additional lunches. Free tea, coffee and snacks will also be available for the duration of the fair near the exhibition space. Is there Wi-Fi available in the exhibition hall? Yes, standard Wi-Fi is available.
